"Works fine, but the privacy details feel a little slippery"
I used PDFFiller to edit and send a few documents, the tool itself worked okay. No major issues with the editing or sending part. But a couple of my files had personal info in them, so I started looking into how long they keep documents and who can actually access them. That’s where it got annoying. The security features seem decent, but the privacy info felt buried, and some of the wording leaves enough wiggle room that it kind of feels like a policy loophole. I don’t want to have to dig through fine print just to understand what happens to my files. Overall, it’s not a bad service, but they really need to make the privacy side clearer and less vague.

"Faxing was easy"
Sent my fax without any hassle. Easy. No big issues at all.

"Pretty handy for quick e-signatures"
I mostly used PDFFiller to get a couple of forms signed, and it worked well. Sending the e-sign link was simple, and the other person seemed to get through it without much trouble. The layout did take me a minute to understand at first, but once I figured it out, it was fine. I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, but I’m sure it saved me a decent amount of time.

"I tried this for a quick PDF edit..."
I tried this for a quick PDF edit after a friend recommended it, it did the job okay. But for something basic that I only needed once, the price felt way too high. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but I definitely felt like I paid more than it was worth.

"Creating a Simple Form Shouldn’t Be This Hard"
I tried using pdfFiller to make what I thought would be a basic form, but apparently that was asking a lot. The fields kept shifting around, the alignment was never quite right, and saving changes felt hit-or-miss. I ended up redoing the same sections multiple times, which was super fun, obviously. It might be fine for quick edits or filling something out, but if you’re trying to actually build a form from scratch, I’d probably look elsewhere.

"Editing PDFs is more hassle than it’s worth"
I tried using it to edit some PDFs, it was frustrating. Text boxes kept shifting around, the formatting didn’t hold the way I expected, and even saving changes took longer than it should have. For the amount of effort it took, it just didn’t feel like a good value.

"I tried pdfFiller just to edit one PDF..."
I tried pdfFiller just to edit one PDF during the free trial. The tool itself worked fine, but cancelling was way more of a hassle than I expected. I also didn’t feel like the pricing or trial terms were all that clear when I signed up. So yeah, I probably wouldn’t use it again.

"I didn’t have a great experience with pdfFiller..."
I didn’t have a great experience with pdfFiller... I was just trying to handle a simple PDF task, but the site felt confusing and I kept bumping into little issues that made everything take way longer than it should have.
Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it was just frustrating... and not really worth the hassle. I don’t think I’d use it again.

"Way more confusing than I expected"
PDFfiller does work, so I’ll give it that, but wow, figuring out the basic stuff felt like a tiny battle. The menus and tools were kind of all over the place at first, and I spent way too much time just trying to do simple things. Maybe once you get used to it, it’s totally fine, but I needed something quick and painless, not a full-blown quest.

"Sharing documents with my team was more trouble than it was worth"
I tried using pdfFiller with my team, it ended up being frustrating. Comments didn’t always show up the way they should, invites took a while to come through, and somehow we kept ending up in different versions of the same document. After dealing with that a few times, my personal take is that it’s just not worth the hassle if you need smooth team collaboration...

"Canceling was such a hassle"
I was trying to cancel my pdffiller account and it is way more annoying than it needed to be. The steps wasn’t really clear, and I end up spending extra time just figuring out how to stop it. not a great experience

"Template library didn’t really help me"
I spent a while digging through the template library and couldn’t find anything that worked for what I needed. A lot of it felt either too generic or just not relevant. Weirdly, I remember one template had this oddly specific placeholder about a bakery newsletter, which stuck with me, but nothing was actually useful enough to use.

"Account settings were easy enough"
I mostly used pdfFiller to handle a few documents and manage my account stuff. Updating my billing info and changing my plan was straightforward, and I didn’t run into anything too confusing there.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I had to poke around a bit to find the cancel and renewal details, which felt a little ridiculous. Support did get back to me, though, and once I found the right account page, everything worked fine.

"A little pricey, but okay for monthly use"
It’s a little on the pricey side, but it works fine for what I need. I use it monthly, and for monthly use it does the job well enough.

"OCR works well most of the time"
I mostly use PDFFiller for scanned forms, the OCR has been solid. It usually picks up the text just fine. Every now and then it gets tripped up by odd fonts or really faint text, but it’s not a big deal to fix. Overall, it’s been a good tool for me

"I tried using pdfFiller on my phone..."
I tried using pdfFiller on my phone to fill out what should’ve been a simple PDF, and it ended up being way more frustrating than I expected. The app kept freezing when I zoomed in, the text boxes wouldn’t stay where I put them, and saving took forever. After a while I started double-checking everything because I didn’t really trust it to keep my edits.

The worst part was thinking I was finally done, then opening the file again and realizing some changes were missing. Maybe it works better on desktop, but I personally wouldn’t rely on the mobile app for anything important or time-sensitive without keeping a backup. It just wasted my time, so it’s not something I’d use again.

"Workflow automation felt more frustrating than helpful"
As someone who’s usually the “process person” on the team, I was hoping pdfFiller would make our workflow automation a lot easier. Instead, setting things up felt clunky. A few steps didn’t save correctly, so I ended up having to redo the same work more than once, which got old fast. It does work here and there, but for the price, I expected it to be much smoother. Support was polite enough, but they didn’t really solve the issue for me

"Worked well, just a couple small things"
The PDF converted fine overall, so yeah, happy with it. The spacing was a little off in a few spots, not a huge deal, just one of those tiny things you notice when you're looking through it. But for what I needed, it did the job

"Cloud sync has been such a headache!!!"
PdfFiller is fine when I just need to make quick basic edits, but wow, the cloud storage part got frustrating fast!!! My Google Drive kept disconnecting, and some files took forever to actually show up!!! I also reached out to support and it took longer than I expected to get help. If you rely on cloud folders a lot like I do, this can get annoying quickly!!!

"Sharing docs was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I used pdffiller mostly to send a few forms over to coworkers, and the whole sharing setup ended up being more annoying than I expected. The link settings weren’t very clear, so I kept second-guessing whether people could just view the file or actually edit it.
Some links worked fine, but others randomly asked people to sign in or hit them with permission issues. When I reached out, the responses felt like the usual canned apologies instead of actually helping much. Maybe I missed a setting somewhere, but sharing a simple document really shouldn’t take that much effort.
